Roles and Responsibilities:
  • To prepare an overall comprehensive development plan of the institute regarding academic, administrative and infrastructural growth and enable the institute to foster excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • To follow up with apex bodies such as PCI, Examination authority (RUHS) and state government and take necessary measures against recommendations from various apex bodies from time to time.
  • To approve the annual financial budget and financial statements of the institute.
  • To exercise general supervision over the academic work of the institute and to give directions regarding methods of instructions, evaluation, research or improvements in academic standards.
  • To consider matters of academic interest either on its own initiative or at the instance of the Governing Body and to take proper action thereon.
  • To take appropriate measures regarding discipline, safety and security issues of the institute.
  • To make arrangements for the conduct of examinations in conformity with the rules and regulations of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Jaipur.
  • To maintain proper standards of the examinations.
  • To promote research within the institute, acquire reports on such research activities from time to time.
  • To suggest measures for co-ordination for individual classes.
  • To make recommendations to themanagement for taking measures for improvement of standards of teaching, training and research.
  • To encourage faculties to participate in various faculty development programs, seminars, conferences and workshops.
